Northland Hairdressing Training Centre located in Keyte Street, Whangarei, is the place to go if you are interested in hairdressing.
They work with both full-time students, working towards their Pre-Trade Certificate in Hairdressing and with apprentices working in salons. Northland Hairdressing holds the contract with the Hairdressing Industry Training Organisation to provide assessment and training services to apprentices all over Northland.
Provided are top of the line resources, so students can gain the skills they need to make it to the top of their profession.
“Hairdressing is a career that can take you anywhere — you can run your own business, work in film or on cruise liners — the world is your oyster,” said manager Tammy Turner.
Tutors Lisa Blagrove and Rowena Farr, have both worked in and owned salons and with hair and fashion going hand in hand, are kept up to date with the latest trends, enabling students to be at the cutting edge.
