Staying fit at home with exercise will help maintain surf fitness

Can’t surf, no worries

by Ann van Engelen

Like countless other businesses, Aotearoa Surf School has been heavily impacted by the current crisis so they have come up with creative solutions to support their customers and other community members interested in surfing.

“We wanted to reach out and take a moment to check in with you all. To connect with our amazing community and let you know that we are all in this together,” says general manager and head coach Che Burnett.

“We wanted to share a little ‘love’ with our community and as such, have decided to release 28 Days of Surf-Lockdown — fun, entertainment, games, education, videos, suggestions and more, all surfing related, in the hope that we can add a little bit of light into each day for the next month.

“We are hoping that you will support us in return by jumping on some of the posts and commenting, sharing, liking and giving us some awesome engagement in return.

“We appreciate your support and wish you all the best for this challenging time.”
