Northland MP Matt King will facilitate two public information sharing forums in Dargaville with Tegel on its planned broiler chicken farm at Arapohue.
These forums will be held on Monday, March 19 from midday-6pm, and Tuesday, March 20 from 10am-2pm at the Lions Club Hall, Dargaville.
The community is invited to meet with company specialists in various fields and ask them questions directly. Northland MP, Matt King, will be facilitating the meetings for the first two hours.
“Tegel will send a small number of representatives with knowledge of the development to set up displays and provide information to take away,” Mr King said.
As at close of submissions on Wednesday, March 7 at 4.30pm Northland Regional Council had 2,458 submissions received, with 2,007 of these from a Greenpeace online submission platform.
